midori configuration (solved)

I'd prefer midori come up not full screen when launched. I did an md5deep -r
on /root on boot, and then again after setting midori from full screen to reduced
but I don't see anything configuration file like that I could change to make this
the default behaviour (it does remember it even across X shutdown and restart
somewhere). The midori site FAQ told me how to make it come up full screen, but not how to make it come up not full screen :-). Anybody?

Hi,

On SystemRescueCD v. 3.5.0, midori keeps his configuration in the file /root/.config/midori/config.
In this file, line 5:

Code: Select all

last-window-state=MIDORI_WINDOW_MAXIMIZED
Can you edit it to check the value of the option last-window-state ?

Thanks! While this wasn't the solution, googling for last-window-state turned up the midori reference manual which in turn indicated that the value MIDORI_WINDOW_NORMAL instead of MIDORI_WINDOW_MAXIMIZED
does what I want and starts midori in a less than full screen window.
A patch against 4.3.1 that does this:

*** /mnt/custom/customcd/files/root/.config/midori/config.orig 2014-09-19 15:09:31.166434835 +0000
--- /mnt/custom/customcd/files/root/.config/midori/config 2014-09-19 15:09:54.005435534 +0000
