How to mount HP RAID array on Linux

Postby km4hr » 12 Sep 2016, 19:55

My Win7 computer won't boot because the BOOTMGR is corrupt. I want to recover data from the hard drive, but it doesn't have an ordinary hard drive. It has two drives that are configured in a RAID array (mirror). Can SystemRescueCd mount RAID arrays?
The computer is a HP Compaq Elite 8100. I tried a Linux Mint live CD without success. Mint shows the two drives, but it won't mount them. The are two devices in /dev (/dev/sda, /dev/sdb) but I can't mount them. Is SystemRescueCd useless on RAID systems?
