ddrescueview

Postby dyadMisha » 07 Jul 2015, 04:53

could you please add ddrescueview to distribution?

This small tool allows the user to graphically examine ddrescue's log files in a user friendly GUI application. The Main window displays a block grid with each block's color representing the block types it contains.

The tool looks nice - but how does it help to recover data?

It helps by letting people see the status of cloning so they don't look at something that says "63040 bps" and decide to kill it because obviously it's never going to finish.

I suggest adding this tool perhaps, it's a python-based gui to launch Ddrescue.
