do we need two LTS kernels?

Postby cschulzejn » 15 Apr 2016, 12:49

About a year ago, SystemRescueCd used the stable and an LTS-Kernel. So you could choose between a really proven and a stable kernel. Nowadays we have two proven (LTS) kernels, but not one from the stable tree.

Please consider going back to 1 LTS and 1 stable Kernel. On the other hand I would be happy to hear the reasons for your decision.

Skylake and kernel 4.4+

Postby behd » 10 Jun 2016, 14:59

Hi there, is there any reason to stick with 4.1 in alt-kernel ?
Why don't you want to support Skylake ?

Thanks
