Automatic 64 bit kernel choice with grub

Postby xerces8 » 05 Sep 2012, 22:05

Hi!

In v3.0.0 isolinux is set to automatically use the 64bit kernel if CPU is capable.
Also there is a GRUB2 boot configuration.

As grub2 too supports automatic 64-bit capability detection, it would be nice to use it, to be consistent with the isolinux config.

Regards,
David

PS: There is quite an absence of activity here. Is there something I'm missing?

If you have suggestions about particular boot options, please post here.
The initial grub configuration was very basic, and meant to be improved.
