wimlib

wimlib is a full featured suite of utilities for creating and applying/extracting Microsoft WIM files. Since they can archive complete copies of all files on an NTFS file, have internal deduplication, and support multiple versions, it's rather handy for dealing with Windows systems and backing up, restoring, and duplicating them. It'd be nice to include the utils on SystemRescueCd :-)

Now that the distro is based on Arch, it should be pretty easy to include the "wimlib" package as part of the OS :)

p7zip can perfectly open wim archives. I really doubt we need utils to create them in this LiveCD.

7z is very deficient with regard to metadata it supports, and doesn't support applying it directly to an NTFS volume. It's barely suitable for extracting files.
