Postby gray » 27 Aug 2011, 08:49

Hi

I've mounted a local NTFS drive to /mnt/local_hdd (using ntfs-3g) but I go to midnight commnader and there is no entry for /mnt let alone /mnt/local_hdd .... I've refreshed MCmndr but no joy ... how do I get to my ntfs drive Mcmndr please?

Aha... found it... for anyone else out there caught unawares....

My MCmndr started in /.. which I thought was the top of the tree... I was wrong... at the top and in the centre column of (either/both) left and right panels there is an "UP--DIR" entry . Double-Click (or press Enter) on it and you will go up the directory tree ... I discovered I was in /root... and there alongside is /mnt

Intuitive navigation?.. I'd read that Mcmdr used the keys to navigate... tried all the arrow, backspace, pgUp, pgdown keys et al...

Anyway.. I'm there.. rgds
