How save ntfs Bitlocker partition with fsarchiver? [solved]

Postby ulefr01 » 11 Sep 2013, 19:35

How can I save a ntfs Bitlocker drive with fsarchiver + restore possibility ?
How to do it ?
I can use dislocker and mount the drive in linux using link : http://info66.net/blog/?p=337
I can do the mount by doing the following two commands

sudo dislocker -v -V /dev/sda1 -p640717-239745-376475-360107-404932-570207-527956-490567 /mnt/tmp
sudo mount -ovloop,rw /mnt/tmp/dislocker-file /mnt/winc

fsarchiver requires a /dev/ to do the savefs by fsarchiver savefs -L${BACKNAM} ${FSAOPTS} ${BACKDIR}/${BACKNAM}-${TIMESTAMP}.fsa /dev/${DEVICE}
and FSAOPTS was set to '-z7 -j3 -s 2000'
/mnt/winc is NOT a /dev/xxxx !!!

How can i make a backup of this drive with fsarchiver ?
Any help ?

I never tried it....
use instead of mount e.g.
losetup /dev/loop5 /mnt/tmp/dislocker-file

Then backup /dev/loop5.
Don't use a loop device which sysrcd use already.
