Automatic execution of a program after boot?

Postby jemenake » 08 Jul 2015, 22:22

Howdy all!

I'm trying to customize the SRCD so that I can put it in a computer and it will automatically run badblocks to scan the drive.

I'm trying to avoid having to go into sysrcd.dat and mess with the inittab file. Is there a way for me to get the automatic execution of the badblocks to happen merely by altering something like isolinux.cfg? Or, is there a standard way to get this done?

You can add autorun scripts to sysresccd.
It is executed short before the shell pop up.
To use interactive tools like dialog search this forum.
