Where is smbfs?

Postby ggmanci » 12 Jul 2011, 15:39

In systemrescuecd 2.2.0 there isn't smbfs. I've tried to mount a samba share, but the answer is

mount: unknown filesystem type 'smbfs'

obviously I've tried a "modprobe smbfs" and the answer

FATAL: Module smbfs not found

I've tried to found answers from the manual...

apropos smbfs
smbfs: nothing appropriate

apropos smbclient
smbclient: nothing appropriate

It's strange! samba server is present but not smbmount?????

In the package list is claimed to ne present!!!

Thank you to whoever's reading, if someone...

Bye
