Sending mail from SysRescCD

Post by steph2607 » 18 Sep 2007, 08:49

Hi,

It seems mail command isn't present in SysRescCD (0.3.8).
How do you send mail from SysRescCD command-line?

I could use Firefox and webmail, but it isn't what I need to do.

Regards.

Hi,

SysRescCD: 0.3.7

sysresccd ~ # /mnt/livecd/usr/bin/mail-files [email protected] "Test" "Test sysresccd 20070918 18h28" /root/envoi_mail.txt
Mailing Test to [email protected]
/mnt/livecd/usr/bin/mail-files: line 84: no: command not found
Message queued
sysresccd ~ #

It seems 'no' is missing...

Regards.

Hi,

no isn't present in sysresccd 0.4.2beta5 and no mail command.

Is it possible to add mail command or no command (used by mail-files)

Regards.

Hi,

No.
I don't.

mail-files complains about it:

sysresccd ~ # mail-files [email protected] Test_mail_sysresccd042beta5 Test_mail_sysresccd042beta5 /etc/ssmtp/ssmtp.conf
Mailing Test_mail_sysresccd042beta5 to [email protected]
/usr/bin/mail-files: line 84: no: command not found
Message queued
sysresccd ~ #
