Back up data from unbootable Windows 7 notebook

Postby xtonda » 27 Aug 2015, 10:16

Hi,

I have notebook computer with corrupted Windows 7 installation so it does not boot. I want to copy data to NTFS formatted USB hard drive using SystemRescueCd. What is the best way to do that?

Thanks.

Thanks, so you mean to mount both drives using ntfs-3g and then just copy with cp or mc?
