I format my ext4 /home partition via mkfs.jfs. My wrong. Any way to roll changes back?

thats verry bad. If you get the filesystem working there may be hidden changes in files.

EXT filesystems have a number of superblocks.
First make a 1to1 copy of your partition.
then use fsck.ext4 with a copy of a superblock.
Read the manpage where you find the superblocks.

while mounting use the option -t ext4 because some filesystems may false autedetect if there are old datafragments.
