Part image problem with HP Smart Array

Post by na3blis » 22 Dec 2009, 15:17

I'm trying to backup a server that is using an HP Smart Array and when I open up partimage it tells me:
/dev/cciss/c0d0 inode doesn't exists
/dev/cciss/c0d0p1 inode doesn't exists
/dev/cciss/c0d0p2 inode doesn't exists

It says that partimage can create it for me, so I select yes, but after that there still are no partitions to save/restore.

When I do "less /proc/partitions" i get the following:
major minor #blocks name
7 0 196636 loop0
104 0 284503117 cciss/c0d0
104 1 15366141 cciss/c0d0p1
104 2 269096782 cciss/c0d0p2

Any suggestions? Thanks

You can try with fsarchiver instead of partimage.
