trying to mount hard drive&recover from 0xc1f5 error VISTA

Post by sashadunch » 13 Nov 2009, 21:17

problem with the system rescue when I try to mount my hard drive:

this is the code I typed:
ntfs-3g /dev/sda3 /mnt/windows

The first message I received was this:

"The disk contains an unclean file system (0, 0)."
"The file system wasn't safely closed on Windows. Fixing"

I typed the same command again and received this message:

"ntfs-3g-mount: mount failed: Device or resource busy"

any ideas? answers?

thanks!!!

It sounds that the partition has been cleaned by the ntfs-3g command, then mount finally succeeded.
No need to mount it again
