Terminology: USB Stick - FAT16 2GB
USB Drive - destination drive, FAT32 128GB
Internal Drive - NTFS 16GB.
Running rescuecd from a USB stick, I have tried to backup a NTFS partition to a USB drive that is 128GB. It fails after a few minutes with error code -20. Or sometimes unknown error code.
First, the USB drive was NTFS. Thought this was causing issue, so used cfdisk to remove partition and made FAT32 (0x0B). Used mkfs.vfat to make filesystem.
My ultimate goal is to be able to create partition images of both NTFS and ext3 drives. Is there something special I should do to either the formatting of the destination drive or any parameters or file system changes? I can't get anything to work without erroring out.
