( sorry bad my english )
Many years using sysrescuecd (different versions) with network boot (PXE). There were no problems.
A few days ago downloaded version 3.0.0 and am trying to load on the network(PXE) immediately loader writes : corrupt kernel image.
In what could be the reason?
PXE: corrupt kernel image in sysrescuecd 3.0.0
Re: PXE: corrupt kernel image in sysrescuecd 3.0.0
Use you the sysrcd inegrated pxebootserver?
If not, check the md5sum of the kernel image.
To check that your bootrom work well, try to boot with the netbootfloppyimage instead the ROM.

I use PSE boot long ago. Now I have it loaded with no problems: old ubuntu, centos5x, centos 6x, fedora 17, old rescuecd, clonezilla. No problem.
Try to boot sysrescuecd to ERROR ! at once.
PXE can my server is too old? No load from 3.0.0 : rescue32, rescue64, altker32 and altker64.

Try it. sysrcd comes with its own server. Short way to test with an alternate server:
Boot the server PC from SYSRCD.
/etc/init.d/Networkmanager stop
ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.5
/etc/init.d/pxebootsrv start
Now boot the client via PXE.

I move change old ROM:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 26460 2012-09-28 06:07 pxelinux.0
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 13156 2007-04-02 16:56 pxelinux.0.bak
PXE boot load works !
Thanks !
