Version 6.0.0 and NFS

Post by cheche » 04 Feb 2019, 00:55

Hi,
first, thank you so much about all the work on this software. I just download the 6.0 version, and even if i am old fashioned guy, that stills prefers the old system, I tried to use the new one.
My home setup used to be like this:
Local loopback of the iso:

Code: Select all

/srv/tftp/systemrescuecd-x86-5.3.1.iso on /srv/tftp/sysrcd type iso9660 (ro,relatime)
Then export using NFS:

Code: Select all

exportfs -v
/srv/tftp/sysrcd <world>(ro,wdelay,insecure,root_squash,all_squash,no_subtree_check,anonuid=1000,anongid=1000)
So my entry for systemrescue the the pxe server is up to 5.3.1 looks like this:

Code: Select all

label systemrescue32
  kernel sysrcd/isolinux/rescue32
  APPEND scandelay=1 initrd=sysrcd/isolinux/initram.igz nfsboot=192.168.1.5:/srv/tftp/sysrcd setkmap=es
To my surprise, this setup change a bit, so loopback and nfs export still the same (only change version numbers).
but the PXE entry change a bit. So I want to publish here if that helps someone to save one hour of their time :-)

Code: Select all

label systemrescue64
LINUX sysrcd64/sysresccd/boot/x86_64/vmlinuz
INITRD sysrcd64/sysresccd/boot/intel_ucode.img,sysrcd64/sysresccd/boot/amd_ucode.img,sysrcd64/sysresccd/boot/x86_64/sysresccd.img
APPEND archisobasedir=sysresccd archiso_nfs_srv=192.168.1.5:/srv/tftp/sysrcd64/ ip=::
