Is it possible to get instructions on installing the grub scripts the cd is using? I am wanting to boot from a USB key with a boot partition and a couple of data partitions (so as to not waste an entire 16gig key for a 600 meg iso). That works fine with a grub.cfg file with an entry for 64 bit kernel and another for a 32 bit kernel booting the iso via the loop interface. However I'd rather use the CD grub that figures out for itself whether the kernel is 32 bit or 64 but I can't figure out how to configure it. Running grub-install installs a standard install (that is what is running the current key) but it won't run the scripts from the CD even if copied across. I assume this is manually configured but I can't find instructions anywhere.
Post in this forum for problems at boot time, if there was no problem for burning the disc. For example can't find the CD, or strange errors when you press enter at the very first prompt.
