Can I add additional bootable .iso (or whatever) files to the "recovery USB drive" that windows 8.1 will create?
The "recovery drive" is of course picky, perhaps secure, EFI-based, and consumes about 5G of an 8GB drive. That leaves plenty of room for a systemRescueCD image, and perhaps several other useful recovery tools as well. IF I can convince the drive to multiboot in a way that doesn't interfere with the 'recovery' function.
Has anyone managed to do this?
Post in this forum for problems at boot time, if there was no problem for burning the disc. For example can't find the CD, or strange errors when you press enter at the very first prompt.
