It looks like the 3.13.x kernel disabled the cpqarray driver from being shown in the build process, therefore anyone using a SMART2-series controller (ida) is stuck with no way to access the array.
The way to fix this is to remove the "&& 0" in the kernel/drivers/block/Kconfig at the BLK_CPQ_DA driver. It will then show up in the menu and can be built into the kernel or as a module.
