Old version and changelogs request

Post by Tuipveus » 23 Jun 2019, 21:03

I need to backup and restore very old Celeron which has Celeron cpu. Are these 5.x versions still compatible ? Where can I get the changelog for the versions 4.x ?

What this means with the Celeron ?

The cpu that I would like to use is Intel Celeron M (clock rate 600MHz /1GHz), Pentium M 1.4GHz

You can use the version up to 5.3.2 with 32bit only i686 CPUs like the Celeron M/Pentium M.

There were some problems with installing 5.3.2 to usb stick. Tried using both Yumi and Rufus. With Yumi it started otherwise ok, but couldn't find srcd.dat on boot. That was fixed by moving the srcd.dat couple of directories up.

I would appreciate a lot, if 32 bit 5-version would be updated to same level with the 6-version at some point. Anyway, 5.3.2 probably has everything that I need for now.
