Downloading and burning
Post there if you have problem when downloading the iso, or burning it.

Boot problems
Post in this forum for problems at boot time, if there was no problem for burning the disc. For example can't find the CD, or strange errors when you press enter at the very first prompt.

Hardware and drivers
Questions about problems with your hardware. For example, if you the kernel hangs during boot because of an hardware failure or if you have a problem with a driver not working or missing.

Hard-disk partitioning and storage
Topics about disk partitioning (fdisk, parted, gparted, partimage), Volumes Management (lvm, evms, dmraid), Storage, file systems, ...

Networking (except PXE booting)
Topics about the networking software (ssh, nfs, samba, ...). No questions about network drivers there.

System software
Topics about the system utilities that are not related to Hard-disk and storage

Questions related to network booting via PXE

Customization and installing new packages
Post questions about how to make a customized SystemRescueCd, and if you have problems to install new packages. Please read the handbook first.
