Zerofree

Zerofree utility allows to reduce the size of a virtual disk. I use it with virtualbox. up to know I have to load a live cd with ubuntu and install zerofreee from the net. Then " zerofree /dev/sda1" and use virtual box tools to compact a few giabytes http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=908128 h...

add ddrescue?

as from this page:

http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/Damaged_Hard_Disk

The best method is using ddrescue (http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/ddrescue/)

I had try and I found it very fast. Please evaluate if you feel that it should be added.
