Re: CD is ejectable after boot

Ok, after some digging, I figured out what's going on. It's because of a bug in udev. To work around the bug, you'll need to create a custom cd. After extracting it, edit the file /mnt/custom/customcd/files/lib/udev/rules.d/60-cdrom_id.rules. In the file, you'll see a line that says: ENV{DISK_EJECT_...

CD is ejectable after boot [solved]

In previous versions of SystemRescueCD, after booting with default options, the eject button on the CD drive was disabled. This was a good thing, since it is still mounted on /livemnt/boot. Now, with version 4.5.1, pressing the eject button ejects the CD, even though mount still shows it being mount...

Re: Customized grub boot menu not included in new iso image

D'oh! I screwed it up. It turns out that editing my /mnt/custom/customcd/isoroot/boot/grub/grub-451.cfg file did work. And I would have known that if I had only burned the correct iso file to the disc!

Re: 4.5.1 ignores nodhcp and nonet boot options

Removing NetworkManager from /etc/runlevels/default/ did the trick. Thanks.

4.5.1 ignores nodhcp and nonet boot options [solved]

I'm trying to boot my customized SystemRescueCD without automatically configuring the networking. I have custom scripts that will take care of that. I can't seem to prevent either dhclient or dhcpcd from starting on boot. I've tried nonet, nodhcp, and nonm options by themselves and in combination wi...
