Files in /etc/sysctl.d are not processed

Hello, I've customized an ISO with files in the "/etc/sysctl.d" directory. cat /etc/sysctl.d/10-ipv6-privacy.conf net.ipv6.conf.all.use_tempaddr = 2 net.ipv6.conf.default.use_tempaddr = 2 When I boot the CD, the files are there but the kernel variables are not set with the correct values. ...

Re: [ssh] Unsupported option "gssapiauthentication"

Two and a half year later, I still have the same problem.

Building SystemRescueCD with the "kerberos" or "gssapi" flag should do the trick :

Re: sys-apps/duc and sys-fs/ncdu - disk usage tools

Hello,

I also think that ncdu should be included. It's a very useful tool to quickly resolve out of inode/space situations.

[4.3.0] dns server = 8.8.8.8 after PXE boot

Hello, FYI, when I boot the SystemRescueCD 4.3.0 official kernel with PXE, the "/etc/resolv.conf" file contains "nameserver 8.8.8.8". Using "dns=x.x.x.x" as boot option has no effect. If I boot the alternative kernel, "/etc/resolv.conf" is correctly filled wit...

Re: LACP bonding + vlan not working

The problem is solved. It works *much better* with the correct VLANID... For the record, this is the full commands to make it work, it's pretty simple actually. Tested on SystemRescueCD 3.5.0 # Configuration of bonding (mode 4 = LACP) modprobe 8021q modprobe bonding mode=4 miimon=100 lacp_rate=1 # P...

Re: LACP bonding + vlan not working

I did not mentioned it, but I have configured an IP address on the VLANed interface with : ifconfig bond0.2004 172.24.1.17/24 up route add default gw 172.24.1.72 bond0.2004 The ping to a host on the same VLAN or the gateway doesn't work, I will try to capture the traffic on the target to see if the ...

LACP bonding + vlan not working

Hello, I use sysrecueCD 3.5.0 (64 bits kernel) on an USB stick to work on servers with bonding (LACP) + VLANs. This is what I do : modprobe 8021q modprobe bonding mode=4 miimon=100 lacp_rate=1 ifenslave bond0 eth1 ifenslave bond0 eth0 At this point, the bonding is working correctly, a capture on the...
