Never mind. I've already fixed my PC with Recovery Is Possible Linux, and all it took was a simple 'dd' command to write the image to my USB device. Why isn't the System Rescue CD so easy to boot?

No valid USB/Removable device has been detected on your syst

usb_inst.sh tells me "No valid USB/Removable device has been detected on your system" I tried 'usb_inst.sh -h', but I didn't see an option to manually specify my USB device. How can I force usb_inst.sh to use the device I want? FWIW, this is what dmesg tells me about my USB device: [3199515.983029] ...
