Hi All, a simple unmount and then remove the drive will not be enough, because the drive is still powered and spinning. On my Linuxbox (Archlinux) i have found a solution like : udisks --detach /dev/sdX But udisk is not included on srcd this should works also to : udisksctl unmount -b /dev/sda1 udis...

Ok, can you please try with sysresccd-2.1.0-beta003 (when released) and post feedback here ? I have no such CPU to test it. sysresccd-2.1.0-beta003 works. v2.0.0 won't boot on my K6-III CPU

i tried to backup my torrent box (K6-III CPU quite old but runs like a charm),
i get this message on boot : kernel requires a cpu with cmov bla bla ...
Older versions of sysrcd have runs without problems.
Maybe you can add a kernel for older machines ?
