Re: Fixing nomdadm (patch included)

Hm, the previous approach is probably not desirable as "mdadm -As" won't work anymore while "AUTO -all" is present. Perhaps this is preferable? --- init.orig 2014-03-16 16:57:51.043924774 +0100 +++ init 2014-03-17 00:55:11.180048648 +0100 @@ -573,6 +573,10 @@ sysresccd_chroot() {...

Fixing nomdadm (patch included)

Hello, 'nomdadm' in the current form doesn't ensure that no arrays are assembled. Though it doesn't call mdadm directly, it doesn't prevent udev's /lib/udev/rules.d/64-md-raid.rules to process each disk/partition in incremental mode. The following simple initramfs patch seems to fix it for me (tried...

loop-AES no longer works

Hello. I'm unable to use loop-AES with sysrcd 1.3.0 and 1.3.1 betas/rcs. Version 1.2.3 seems to be last version to have the support. 1.2.3: # dmesg | grep loop: loop: AES key scrubbing enabled loop: loaded (max 8 devices) # zgrep LOOP_AES /proc/config.gz CONFIG_BLK_DEV_LOOP_AES=y Newer versions do n...
