I understand what you suggest, but I was hoping I wouldn't have to intervene with labels or UUIDs. Why did the behavior change with 1.5.1?

Also, if I booted with the docache option, would I still get the same disk name assignments or would things go back to the way they were?

I'm having problems with version 1.5.1. JFS 1.1.14 needed

Would it be possible to include an update to the latest version of the JFS file system utilities in the next version of the disc? The current CD only has version 1.1.13, while version 1.1.14 has been out since April of this year.
