Which GUI-Toolkit are supported? Gtk/Gtk2/Gtkmm/GtkFB???

Hello,

I have a few perl-scripts with gtk2-perl binding. I know SystemRescue dont have gtk2.

Is it possible to install these libs after starting of livecd or I have to complete recompile SRCD?

Which toolkit(s) can you suggest for me?

thanks

part[ition]image can do image of partition but not of whole hdd. for whole drive imaging you can use dd but it is not space efficient. And you need to have another hdd connected to write the image to. Or transfer image over network. if you have ntfs you can try ntfswipe before dd | gzip to reduce si...

Cannot type "=" on boot prompt in VirtualBox

if I boot in Virtualbox I cannot set parameters like setkbd because if I press "=" button it will be not typed in command prompt.

Works on real hardware, but not in VirtualBox

Seems to be VirtualBox-related problem?

UPDATE: "|" (pipe) dont work in VirtualBox too

ntfs-3g mount options (folders/files with öäüß are hidded)

after mounting a ntfs partiton I cannot see files and folders containing öäüß characters in the filename/foldername.

trying utf8,iocharset,nls options but without success.

P.S. Ubuntu LiveCD and grml mount and show all correctly without additional parameters

by adding into HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager the key BootExecute with value type is REG_MULTI_SZ "autocheck autochk *" (without quotes)

its the standard way to launch checkdisk
