Perhaps you might add a max count at

/etc/init.d/sysresccd/netconfig2

while [ "${dhcpstate}" != 'ok' ]

in case DHCP server is missing/dead

( or what ever is happening in my case
which I havent yet determined

with no options It seems that after PCMCIA "skipping DHCP broadcast :cry: results in eth0 without an IP address, etc ++++++++++++++ with dodhcp >> performing the network configuration... here are the interface for your system... sennding discover sending sending select lease of ... obtained... ... ....

I believe the ftp included is very difficult to use for anything other than a single file. Significant problems include: 1) confirmation for each file transferred is required for an mput 2) no recursive handling for directories. Are there flags or options to deal with either if these? If not, could ...
